What's this all about?

Does motherhood feel like its all struggle and little joy? Do you sometimes wonder who you are now that you are a mom or feel like you miss the you you were before motherhood? Do you sometimes wonder if you are doing this Motherhood thing "wrong" and everyone else is doing it better than you? Good news: YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Motherhood has never been easy but it has become even harder. I fully believe that there is a way to make motherhood less stressful and more enjoyable. To create a sense of ease in yourself so that you can reconnect with the person you were before you were a mom, and gain love for the person you are now. And you will have the added bonus of feeling more present for your kids, your partners and YOURSELF!

Hi, I'm Emily!

And I am a mom just like you! A mother who has struggles with motherhood. I've used what I know as a Psychology Master of Psychology and Yoga Therapist to find more joy and ease in mothering and I love helping other moms, moms like you, do the same.


I've struggled with Matresence (the transition to motherhood) and have learned and developed techniques to help reduce your own struggle. Sometimes things are still chaotic here in my household as the expat mother of 2! But when I take care to Mother Myself things are a bit less chaotic, in my brain and for my relationship with my kids, my husband and my community! And I want to help you find the same.


I know self care can often feel like just one more thing on an never ending to-do list but it doesn't have to be that way! Self Care can be just a few minutes to reconnect with yourself. To feel less guilt and more enjoyment in the self care so you can get its benefits for your family and for yourself. I am so excited to be finding more joy in motherhood and helping other moms do the same!
